Local Design Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us”), in connection with our business, holds a great deal of personal information in order to carry out our activities. We believe that the protection of personal information is an important responsibility and have established the following privacy policy in order to gain the trust of information owners and society at large. We have established the following privacy policy and will make every effort to protect personal information.
Description of the Policy
We will handle personal information appropriately in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and other standards, as well as our own rules and regulations, and will ensure that all persons engaged in our business are fully aware of and familiar with these rules and regulations.

(2) Cases falling under the exceptions set forth in Article 27, Paragraph 1, Items 1 through 7 of the Personal Information Protection Law.
(3) In the case of Article 27, Paragraph 2 (opt-out (except for information requiring special consideration)) or Paragraph 5, Items 1 to 3 (outsourcing) of the Personal Information Protection Law.
(4) Cases in which personal information is entrusted to a third party and used by such third party
iv When personal information is entrusted to a third party for use, the Company shall examine the appropriateness of the entrustment in light of the security control measures taken by the third party, and shall enter into a business consignment agreement with the third party that stipulates the matters necessary for appropriate supervision, including the maintenance of confidentiality, before providing the information to the third party, etc. Appropriate supervision of contractors will be carried out through these measures.
2)Security control measures for personal information
To prevent unauthorized access to personal information, and to prevent and correct leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, the Company will establish internal rules and regulations and take safety measures. In order to achieve the above objectives, we have implemented the following measures
i Establishment of a basic policy for the appropriate handling of personal information and personal data, as well as for the implementation of measures stipulated by laws, regulations, and guidelines.
ii Establishment of various rules and regulations that stipulate the responsible person and his/her role in each action, such as acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal of personal information

v Physical security control measures, such as access control for employees, restrictions on equipment brought into the company, and restrictions and management of equipment, electronic media, and documents that handle personal data to prevent theft or loss of such data
vi Technical security control measures such as introduction of systems to protect information systems handling personal data from unauthorized external access or unauthorized software
3) Improvement measures
We will strive to accurately respond to changes in the social environment regarding the handling of personal information. We will also strive to make improvements by changing, modifying, or adding to this policy and other rules and regulations as necessary.
4) Response to requests for disclosure, etc.
If you believe that we are not abiding by this Privacy Policy, or if you wish to request disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of your personal information, suspension of use (including suspension of provision to third parties), or disclosure of records of provision to third parties, please contact us (e-mail address: info@ldhd.co.jp). 6) Language
This Agreement is made in Japanese and translated into English. The Japanese text is the original and the English text is for reference purposes only. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between these two texts, the Japanese text shall prevail.
